We know you have questions about our housing program. Here are the
answers to help you get started.
Shared living is a housing option where individuals either share a
bedroom with a roommate or have a private bedroom, while sharing
common spaces such as kitchens, living rooms, and bathrooms. It's
designed to provide both affordability and community support.
Eligibility is based on availability and program guidelines.
Individuals who are able-bodied and can live independently in a
community setting may qualify for shared living housing. We also
serve individuals who are experiencing homelessness, have a
history of mental illness, substance use disorder, or other
challenges that impact their housing stability. All applicants go
through an intake process to ensure shared living is the right fit
for their needs.
We consider lifestyle, compatibility, and individual needs when
making placements. Our priority is to create a safe, respectful,
and comfortable living environment.
Amenities typically include:
Furnished bedrooms (private or shared)
Furnished kitchens and living spaces
Laundry facilities
Wi-Fi
Access to supportive services onsite or nearby (such as case
management, counseling, or community resources)
The length of stay varies depending on each individual's needs and
the type of housing program. Some residents may stay for a shorter
transitional period, while others may remain longer if they need
extended stability. ThrivHive works with each person to determine
the most appropriate arrangement to support long-term housing
success.
